As a magician myself, I’d like to clear something up on the “convincing magic is real” part Magicians never outright say that magic is real. Throughout my whole magic journey, I never once heard a magician say it’s real, because they know it isn’t. It's a combination of sleight of hand, misdirection, dexterity, acting, storytelling, presentation and with countless hours of practice, all this combines together to create a performance that fools the eye into thinking the spectator witnessed the impossible, as per the saying “The hand is quicker than the eye”. Even something as simple as a coin vanish has a lot of thought put into it with loads of different techniques but all results in the same effect. A magic trick may look impossible, but most of the time the explanation and technique is more simpler than you think
