Okay so about the blood: The creators of Danganronpa originally had the blood be red. However, they changed to blood to pink for two reasons. One being because of the art style, a psychedelic pop so to speak. The other reason, was to keep the ESRB rating down. If the blood was red, they would have to rate it 17+, but since it is pink, it is only 13+. The original version of the game, Distrust, was a lot darker and a lot more gory. However, you could build of a “trust” meter with the characters in-game, depending on how much trust you had amongst the other students decided how the game would play out. Instead of Sayaka being the first murdered, it could be someone like Yasuhiro or Leon. Also, Fun Fact: Leon and Sayaka were only killed first because they were the first characters created, and the creators were sick of them.
