Wouldn't be so sure, as there are songs that complement each other, kind of like remixes (you can see this more clearly on the Furi soundtrack I believe). There is discussion, but what I've found most believable is that the titles are times which he imagines the theme of the song to fit. Kind of like a musical-instrumental-only-story, with a time and "date" in mind. Something like that..
