@Alaska Music I think it must be ADHD or something, because he can’t stay focussed on someone else’s conversation for more than like 60 seconds. An example is when Ehren is talking and he just goes off to turn the A/C on or whatever. It’s really frustrating, but I do get the sense it’s more than just rudeness or arrogance. To be fair, the drugs probably haven’t helped either, haha! All that having been said, I still love the guy and it’s cool to hear he’s open to suggestions on ways he can improve. None of us are perfect.

20:30 Honestly, if I were Ehren I would have sued Dickhouse Productions, Paramount Pictures, and MTV for allowing that to happen. This story really makes me look at Jeff Tremaine in a whole new light. I thought he was actually concerned with the well being of the guys, but it sounds like I was mistaken. Why didn't Jeff just drop Knoxville down an 8 foot hole after the bull gored him in the Magic Trick bit? Knoxville's neck wasn't even broken, and Ehren was knocked unconscious just prior to the drop as Johnny was after the bull's impact. I don't see why he would be so willing to abuse Ehren while he knew him to be in a vulnerable state but wouldn't do the same to Johnny. This bit wasn't cut due to it being "too much" as Steve-O put it. Who the hell would even think that makes sense? The whole reason to put the entire production together is literally a mission to get the gnarliest footage. This will never be see the light of day because Paramount's lawyers have determined that the studio would be vulnerable from a legal standpoint if that footage got out. The fact that Jeff knew the footage couldn't even be used after his initial neck breaking impact, but still put him through that 8 foot drop after the fact, is reckless neglect at the very least, even bordering on malicious attempted murder at the worst. This wasnt a joke, it was criminal behavior that should have been persecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Ehren could have literally gone the way of Ryan Dunn because he put his trust and life in the hands of a man-child.

Ehren is totally that dude who’s just a little weird and doesn’t quite follow the flow of conversation but it seems like it comes from a super solid understanding of who he is. like he’ll say some shit that feels awkward in the moment but he’s just doing his thing and it’s actually really endearing. i’ve always had a soft spot for him with how much they pick on him but he’s such a good dude. i’m glad he got to really shine in the new movie. fuck yeah Danger Ehren 🤘🏻

This whole podcast is so damn heart warming. It's nice to hear how these guys have grown, stayed sober and built these great lives outside of such extreme entertainment. Ehren saying they haven't matured is funny because this whole episode is so heartfelt and open. They have totally emotionally matured and it's wonderful to hear. But they are still funny and gross as hell 😆

When Ehren says he’s a pro- he’s a damn pro. But a negative aspect from people can turn shit from pain to ptsd. Steve O got beat to shit - on stage and off- but didn’t go through what Ehren did. Steve O could never land tricks like Ehren did either tho. You even see how he caught that surf board off the Bungie? Dude can ride. Steve O can do shit like that but he was never actually an ‘athlete’ .. he’s got them issues.

I think the problem is he's just really good friends with most of the people he's interviewing, so we're mostly watching him talk to friends he maybe hasn't seen in awhile so he hasn't learned to really interview them, he's just excited to see them and talk to them. Friends kind of stumble over each other's sentences and interrupt from time to time, just out of habit to show their invested or listening... Except for Tommy Lee where he basically told Tommy Lee's entire life story back to him lol. Steve O will get there.

He likes to be the center of attention. If you watch the Bam Margera or the Dave England episode you'll see. When the guest is having a good time or telling some compelling story, he have to say something about himself or tell a story over the other person... I can't tell if it's a narcissistic trait or if he is just excited to have his friends over.

TLDR: Thank you Steve-o & Danger! You guys literally broke down barriers. And created so much joy / so entertaining ecen a dude with spinal injuries and lost count of how many broken bones, severely depressed. You made us forget and laugh so damn much. And literally improved relationships. It was so hard to watch at points since hate seeing people get hurt. Thank god you guys removed the broken bone sounds or mics didn’t bring them up. Man.. with a brittle bone disease I can’t express how amazing these guys are. Breaking bones repeatedly, having spinal fractures, breaking so often being able to tell if it’s a break that needs to go to the ER. Or can just wrap. But when the show came out, was in Germany. So many people would meet up hang out to watch jackass. Even the people who couldn’t speak English. ( was in an American area. So friends had access to US TV.) but laughing together. Years later when moved to the USA, my GF dad had to take us to the movie theater. He was an angry, no BS kinda guy. And had no idea what jackass was. I’m pretty sure it was the second movie. So many people tried to sneak into the theatre. Literally the thestre was so packed I remember people were offering to pay more to just to stand in the back. But seeing her dad laugh so much. Hearing him laugh his ass off was amazing. And years later bumped into him at a bar, and we talked about that day. But him thanking me, having fun, and later saying thank you ( would sneak over to their house when she was having a hard time emotionally. Her mom chased me in her car and almost hit me lol.) But after seeing that movie with her, and her pops. He opened up so much more. And became my advocate. Convinced him to go by explaining the deal in Germany and how funny it was. He doubted it but “chose to trust me. That it’ll be funny/fun” car ride back we almost crashed because he started laughing so damn hard when talking about it lol. Apparently he bought the movie and rewarded it. He had so much respect for these maniacs lol. And for the portion with Knoxville and Butterbean, I remember him saying “IS THAT BUTTERBEAN? THIS HAS TO BE FAKE. THEYRE NOT GOING TO FIGHT. BUTTERBEAN FOUGHT TYSON” and him dying laughing to “Is Butterbean alright?” Can’t remember if it was the second movie, first or the show. But watching it with him lol. And his wife being all mad. What are you watching?! A teenager and a no BS office worker being able to enjoy this together and laugh. And him respecting steveo for being “ the most crazy” but calling his dad or referencing his dad in regards to the car butt thing. I don’t doubt that he’s kept up, and has respect for Steve-O getting sober.
