Congratulations, Lauren, for such a collection of wonderful jumps. On whatever horse you sit, you make him jump perfectgly and support the horse´s movements by flying over wonderfully. You have a special jumping two point position, which all your horses love. that is why all of them are motivated and go for the jumps, when you are in the saddle. Whereas many girls bump into the saddle when landing after a jump, you sometimes don´t touch the saddle at all but remain standing in the stirrups, like you do after that high jump at 0:45. And when there is a frightened horse spooking heavily as after 1:42 - you manage to stay on, keep balamnce and regain control. Great performance, Lauren. Thus it is always a pleasure to watch you riding. And I also admired your trick riding (like on an excited Boo - rearing nine times!) - physically extremely fit and mentally very strong - that is how we know you. And there is that nice little rear ar 3:08 sitting in the saddle with no hands and no stirrups in perfect balance. That looks really beautiful, but is far less spectacular than the most impressive rear, which you did on that wonderful stallion Malik in the video "Stallion rearing and walking" (Watch on the channel NEddiesGun, nearly three years ago on 22. 7. 2016). Such a long walking distance on a rearing stallion i had never seen before, not even from High School dressage riders in the circusses, who often ride rears, but very seldom walk.

Gabbana pitched a fit! Silver is so good, I saw in a comment he's been sold. You did a great job teaching him to jump! Uri is your prettiest horse imo, but Boo will always be my fav.

Do you have any suggestions on someone wanting to learn how to jump ( I can't afford a trainer so I'll have to teach myself) ? What should you work on?
@lolasart34085 жыл бұрын
I know I'm not her but: Start with poles on ground, than getting over them in canter, finaly, lift them off the ground, make them really low, like 30cm or so, and canter or trot over them so horse will jump. Don't push it too much, get used to new feeling, try doing jumping position in walk, trot or canter to get used to balance in changed position. You can watch some videos on youtube and eventually, not soon, but eventually you will be able to make jumps higher. Hope this helped!
