J B was one of our greatest , most humane and yes, Wise writers. We now live in an age where these attributes are not as important as ticking the correct box where certain matters are concerned . We can only imagine his thoughts on the England of today. ...

One of the best radio dramas I've listened to! The ending is very thought-provoking. (Somebody said "too many characters and voices; not suitable for a radio drama". Hmmm.... this is a problem I find with many radio dramas. This specific drama shouldn't be singled out for this reason.)

I think the popularity of Priestley’s “An Inspector Calls” has tended to eclipse his other “Time Plays” to some extent. I’ve always loved “Dangerous Corner,” as well as “Time and the Conways”.

As I just said on another Channel of this play : I recognized this play immediately from the scream in the very beginning : - I listen to many plays more than once. - Now if you read the comments before you listen to plays which, i do : - I strongly advise you to listen to this, the reason, this script is admirally written. - Well with that said I'm heading back to the play, just after that, dreadful scream.. .. .

This was excellent! A great ‘one room play’! (Is there a technical word for it?) The only other one I’ve heard was ‘An Inspector Calls’, which was great as well. It takes great writing and acting to pull this off and it was beautiful! BRAVO!!!

Agree, too many characters and voices. Only worked out who was who towards the end. As a stage play or TV drama this play would be excellent. Having said that, the acting is excellent with a great cast.
