I've seen kayaking videos of surge narrows, probably a good call not going through there. Also, it's so crazy seeing the time lapse of Marty and Mae's boat being pushed left and right!

We use Surge Narrows to go to Octopus …it’s shorter and pretty easy at slack. Love the hike to the lake there from Waiatt Bay ascwell

Enjoyed your video this evening. Nice usage of chart to show your passage. We know you are not posting in real time, but could you include the time you did your footage when posting so we can use it for reference. Thanks much. Max looks so relaxed, content and happy! Fair winds

It's ben Two long weeks waiting on my lanai to see this video. It has ben Worth the weight. I guess it is starting to get cold 🥶 where you are now. But here on the Big Island it is 74 this morning. And a Beautiful day to keep an eye out for sails on the Horizon. The whales 🐋 are starting to come in and around the Islands to give birth. The moon last night was just awesome. And Now I bet you have that Big smile 😀 on your faces. And all that long hard work on the Boat 🚢 is just a long ago Memory. So let us know when you start to move to Warmer waters, and across the pacific. Until next time, Aloha from the Big Island of Hawaii! Aloha and Cheers 🍻

You can live aboard and spend 50 years cruising the waters without losing the thrill of discovering new sights. And you don't even need to head west to Prince William Sound, Anchorage - Unalaska - Nome to have that, literally just the area the discriminatory policies of your insurance provider allows without special exemption / extension.
@WaywardLifeSailing2 ай бұрын
It’s nuts isn’t it? Just soooo much cool stuff to explore!
@jaquigreenlees2 ай бұрын
@@WaywardLifeSailing yup, I just hate being told you are not allowed to go to California or Anchorage by insurance provider just because I'm in BC. Any other Canadian waters and you get from Alaska + Yukon border to the American Virgin Islands as allowed area to cruise in, 1000 times the area at least.
