A heat dome has been scorching the country for seven days and counting, hitting cities coast-to-coast with blistering temperatures in the upper 90s and 100s.

No thanks, I live in the north west of Australia. I know heat. Summer is usually around 50oC (122oF) with sea temperatures around 35oC. You have to wear shoes in the sea though because of the stone fish. A wee bit further up and you have to dodge the Salties ( salt water crocs). 😊

Fort Lauderdale beach is my backyard. This is chasing shade season. Ill go to great lengths to be in the shade, trust me. It’s like 30 or more degrees HOTTER out there messin’ with Mr. Sun! I’m all tucked up under some shade palms just watching the fools. During tourist season: Sunday into Monday, WHITER than Xerox paper. Saturday when they leave, ouch. Red, red, red, red about to board a 6 hour AIR CONDITIONED flight with 2nd degree burns. EVERY YEAR, EVERY WEEK without fail it seems 👍

Annual global warming has returned . We celebrated by spending our 95 degree day with a huge bonfire burning stuff. We were all around it throwing stuff into it... Humidity in KY has always been awful as well. Any Kentuckian knows what I'm talking about. No heat strokes here .... Farmers/ Bricklayers/Hod carriers and construction workers in general are probably rolling their eyes. I bet people in Arizona and Texas are 😆😆 as well.
