I asked God months ago to show me whatever in my heart needed to change . He told me ,"pride" . I was a little surprised by that! Over the past few months ,the Holy Spirit has shown me truth about pride. A couple of things I saw was I was exalting my opinions above what God says and I assumed I know what's in the hearts and minds of many people . Thank you Lord!!

I was praying about something for someone and I prayed for the Lord to give me the words to say, Bible verses to show, and sermons to show and I was already about to watch either this sermon or the next one called “lost mind” and I chose this one and I clicked on it and within the first 30 seconds it was exactly what the person was talking about and the situation I was praying for. This is such a great series on the mind and I really got a lot out of the first episode it was so helpful and I’m more than sure I will get a lot out of this one also. Thank you!

Amen. Ouch and Amen. It wasn't until very recently I have had to admit that maybe the intellectually deficient one is me. My life I was like - Its not me, look at the state of you. (People who love to tell me to wake up in this context.) Haven't figured it out yet but I am trusting God about it. Otherwise, found roots of pride in my moral high ground. (hehe.) (Not in a Bible under the arm way. In an "I'm so better than this person because I don't treat people like that, I treat them better than they deserve from me" or when people not only disbelieve the things I say but actually mock and or slander me (I'm like look at that donkey), and also when people coerce me. I will lie to see where it goes, which sometimes work out brilliantly for me - other times I'm effectively just helping the person to disrespect me. Either way in all circumstances I'm wrong and make mistakes.)

Hey Pastor, I've watched several of your sermons lately. I have no real complaints yet but please consider using obedience to the marriage God put you in and how the devil works to tear that apart. You always talk about having a bad relationship with the wrong person but sometimes it's the right person and there is a sin issue causing the division or the enemy putting lies about your spouse in the others head and we need to teach people to seek God for help to see that as well. We should never give up on our spouse or break covenant easily! People need to learn to humble themselves in order to Repent and work for restoration of a relationship not just cut and run when it gets hard. Thank you! God bless you

I was married to a narcissist and I did everything God's word said to do for 8 years. He ended up getting back on drugs and yes I could stay and get past that. He did it over and over and we always struggled. I stayed so stressed I couldn't work and I got saved and seeking God and I got a job and I couldn't fix my roof or electrical issues cause he wouldn't work and cussed me wanting money and then he committed adultery again. That was it I was done. Be careful cause some do what God says and I would be so bad to blame myself and it wasn't me. He even said I didn't try hard enough and if I don't slow down seeking God he's going to separate us. Wow

Oh I’m sorry I can understand.. I got and get that same line “I didn’t try hard enough” “I’m not trying” I tried so hard to stay and prayed so hard that God could help this man and help me survive the days with him I found, and realized God did not create me to survive an abusive relationship any longer. The abuser needed to find Jesus himself.
