If you like gold bombs, pick up the lightning bombs while you have them. And get a blast suit. And find the capture ball. And then just focus entirely on bomb explosion size. I did that earlier today, and basically ended up with infinite bombs that do 1k damage to half the room, while blowing up enemies and turning them sometimes into gold. Yes, the pilfers will try to steal golden enemies. Edit: Oh, you DID pick up that lightning bomb. So did you like it? You are DF. You like gold. And turning things into gold. You definitely liked it.

If you didnt know, besides spending 200hp on the transmute, you can use a bomb! but only once per shop for obvious reasons.

TBF you can make a stupid amount of gold the last two levels of the game compared to the first 3 zones. The last zone in particular drops 600 gold nuggets regularly.
