Df, if you get a pet called Sylph. It doubles your altar use at level 2 and doubles the blessings at level 3 on top of holy guacamole and devotion you can stack your blessing to insane numbers. (6 blessings per altar. With guacamole it becomes 12 per 2 altar rooms) Could use it to stack some insane levels of gold drop.

sylph is the best pet, she gains xp whenever you use an altar and if you get guacamole with devotion you can use a late game altar up to 3 times while receiving 6 blessings its crazy, and you have the chance of finding up to 3 altars in a single floor thanks to guacamole.

Getting the mirror lets you hit Noori's orbs back at it, curse ones included. Getting the skull shield combines them into the Mirror Shield relic. It protects you like the skulls do but also sends range attacks back to the attacker. Very useful for both.

The pilfer ring is a seriously good relic !! It reduces the cost of the shop which you been seeing can really add up plus is picks up gold for you ! You’d have a ton more at the end of your run if you didn’t have to worry about the little jerks stealing it all.

Yo, DF. Sylph is fucking *AMAZING* when used in conjunction with stuff like Biscuits. It lets you pray at altars an addition time (this DOES stack with Devotion) and get 2 blessings per prayer (i.e. 4 levels of a blessing per altar, for only 2 curses; 6 with Devotion added). This can lead to some stupid endgame shenanigans, especially with stuff like Exuberance + Master Pickaxe and Gust + Chakram.

If you get the deal with the demon and the Chakran is available (3 curses) it's always worth it. Its made pretty much every boss fight a joke. I like it better than ricochet since it can do insane damage output once you get used to its mechanics. Combine it with fan of knives and you're set

Hey DF, I just wanted to encourage you to try out for melee once. Buy all those melee upgrades like iron branch (or what ever it was called) and queens crown. Also go for exuberance at all shrines. Trust me, it is just crazy how fast monsters and bosses die if you do that. I am at summoning stone 10 now and am not bothering trying to explore all rooms or getting all those upgrades (except exuberance) because bosses die rapidly anyways with melee. Also, the aegis is ALWAYS worth it. Even at high health it reduces damage considerably! Way to overpowered IMO.

DF: 23k gold Also DF: takes the curse-removing potion from the first shop that deals damage but not the one that just removes a curse for free Also, you should really check the wiki on those companions so you at least know how they each gain XP. It isn't always very obvious, imo. Also-also, Relic Eater eats *one* relic after you get *50* kills. Enemies that you lead into spikes or stuff, that fall into pits, that die to Lightning Beetles electrifying water, or that get killed by the flame turrets you can sometimes encounter in the Dungeon don't count as your kills for it. One more thing: the fire rain curse & Selt's Blood Bomb relic become less intimidating with about 2 or 3+ Fortitude (which is take 20 or 30+% less damage from everything) and Gordon's Tunic. It makes fire on the ground deal no damage, at all.. making the fire rain purely to your benefit.

There is gold duplication glitch (i think it still works) If you are in the shop and use the Transmute while a pilfer is in the room it can change them into a Nightmare ore Hoarding Pilfer and then you hit the pilfer it spawns more gold more pilfers appear then repeat, eventually the game is glitched so the transmute wont take health due to how much gold is on screen so dont worry about pilfers taking gold just use the transmute, or you can use the gold tooth for health, free loaders drought which can give you free transmutes, or use the gold potion that shoots out gold to spawn in the first pilfers

Demon blade and Kurtz stache has amazing rewards especially if you're going for a cursed run thanks to those curse stores which I got quite frequently (curse run is quite good and easy tbh) Btw I got 12 curses which is the max number with some of them stacked 2 to 3 times
