No matter how many times DF plays these Adventure Capitalist events, he somehow still hasn't learned that climbing the ranking requires you clearing the missions, and clearing the missions is easier to do by resetting with the angels rather than using gold. I have to imagine that DF's brain is like: Using Paid Currency = Better Result.

You have to have a lot of angels to be worth it. Angels aren't worth it at all in the beginning when you don't have many, so using gold would be more worth it in the beginning to build profits and THEN reset with more angels. 1000 seems to be a good minimum

Octogintillion is 243 zeros. The trick to working out how many zeros, is knowing how to break down the words. Like Novemseptuagintillion; Novem is Nine, septuagin basically means seven tens, so seventy, so it's nine and seven tens, so 79. Now to work out the zeros the formula is 3n+3, so from the example, (79x3)+3=240.

DF, I'm begging you. When you play an event, you need to not use gold to keep all your current levels. You need to start at 1 again and re-get your levels so that you clear the missions and get the bonuses that make the numbers go insanely high.
