i remember watching this when i was 8 and my grandma snuck up behind me right when "Holy Shit, it's the revenge of the BadEggs!!!" showed up on screen. needless to say, i was grounded from youtube for like a solid two months and had to use dailymotion or some other youtube knockoff. mind you this was in like 2008 so any alternatives were especially garbage and i was really suffering. anyways now i'm 17 and i can say "shit" whenever i want without getting grounded, which is pretty nice

In Emerald i was fighting elite four, then i got to the champion. When all of a sudden my Sableye transformed into a badegg. It did not crash my game or anything, my Sableye was just gone.

Bad egg is NOT dangerous at all in Alpha Sapphire/Omega Ruby. I got a lot of them after attempting to add a hacked Kyurem to the GTS. They multiply in boxes and override Pokemon in them, and you can hatch it to get the first Pokemon in the Pokedex, the second, the third, so on. They are level 100.

Fun fact: in Pokemon Platinum, if you use the Catch Trainer Pokemon cheat to catch Flint's Magmortar in the Elite Four challenge, you won't catch a Magmortar, but a Bad Egg.

When you have a bad egg trade your pokemon that you want to keep or ask one of your best friends with the same pokemon game or it can be diferent game (black and white.) then when you have to start all over you still get to keep the pokemon that you traded.

The bad egg is a dumb idea. One of my friends traded me a shiny charmander for a legit legendary but when I sent it to Pokemon Colosseum it became a bag egg! Can I say when using codes for an obeying mew with the aurora ticket, u need to have a free space in box 1 at the top left (where ur first pokemon goes when sent to pc) it is the only way to use that specific code safely. U can get a bad egg but all u have to do is remove all codes enter and back out of the pc until the egg goes away then try again. Should only take 3 attempts at the very most. Hope this helps :)

I feel your pain. On my HG version, my saved game got corrupted WITHOUT a bad egg and it had gotten erased, and I had beaten it and caught Articuno. It happened again llike 3 whole times but my dad fixed it. On the day it got deleted, I cried. Blazer the first, my Typhlosion fro that first saved game, still lives on Pokemon Battle Revolution. =]

I had a level 36 manitric which I stored in the pc with bad egg and just disappeared out of nowhere..yes I rechecked alot of times but I coudnt find it..next it was with my tentacool..soo I shifted the bad egg in the box 2 and all of my Pokémon stopped disappearing..this actually happened I'm not joking..

Depends on the Egg. Some might hatch into themeslevs infinatly, while some actually hatch into Pokemon, but due to bad programing they will randomly hatch from another Bad Egg.

A theory about the BadEgg: I've seen videos of people forcing eggs to fight. When they do, they turn into the Pokemon they would hatch into. So, maybe a BadEgg is an Egg with no assigned Pokemon, so that if it were to be forced to fight the game would encounter some crazy error that makes the cartridge melt into slag? Just a thought.

BadEggs mostly appear when a pokemon’s data gets corrupted, resulting in the game not being able to recognize it and just turn it into a BadEgg. So be aware of what can happen when deciding to give ur partner 1000 levels or anything like that. Also, there are some instances of BadEggs being legitimately sent into battle bc only a small part of the data is corrupted and the game still recognizes the egg as a pokemon, but not a specific species, so it turns into a BadEgg instead.

LunaTheMemerFluffs boi If you don’t put it in a separate box (that is if it allows you to) away from all your other Pokémon it will sooner or later attack all your Pokémon (spreads like a virus) and turn them into BadEggs. Some people actually benefited from them and obtained starter Pokémon or legendary Pokémon but I think that’s just a gamble you never know for sure whether it’ll happen to you or not so I wouldn’t bet on it. (Depends on what game you have). If you leave the BadEgg in your party your game will corrupt and reset the entire game (starts by saying your previous save file is corrupted) if you save while having a BadEgg the game will eventually delete itself. Also I wouldn’t trade cause it can spread to other players or you can get a BadEgg from trading with players that have used cheat codes or done glitches to the game.
