I can tell that there is themes of Elizabeth Bathory in parts if you really pay attention. idk if its the mixing/mastering or whatever, but IA has some of the most refined use of that low 8th string in their writing. They preserve it in the writing and don't over-spam 0's the whole song. Nothing pleases me more than a man of culture treating the 8th string as the spice and seasoning, rather than the main course. Archspire is another band that does it as well.

Well, the guitarist and drummer of IA have another band, black tongue, which uses the 8th string more frequently but they combine it with more melodic symphonic parts so that it isn’t monotonous.
