Wisdom and ingenuity is never taught in the classroom. Africans shld begin to think beyond the certificates whiteman issued to them. Look at Dangote, his business ingenuity is beyond a Harvard or oxford university degrees. Let's look inward and tap into our inbuilt wisdom ordained by nature and assert our collective selves to the world! Dangote reeling out figures better than all the Professors i have ever known and those numbers are working for his business in the same Africa we all absconded into Europe in search of menial jobs. Wake up Afric, lets Dangote be the compass.

@Maniriho jean d'Amour Dangote has a degree in business investment though from a university in Egypt. Mayb he understands his only degree better that he didn't need to go further to succeed. Unlike the rest of pen pushers all over Europe and the Americas universities like they don't have enough.

I think this man is in a unique position some one investing in the right places with the right amount of money and vision and as a result he has the potential to be richest man that has ever lived in 20 years maybe less refining nigerian oil and sell it withing Africa building the continent with his cement factories as well as supplying African farmers with fertiliser food> fertiliser transportation> oil refining and housing>cement what is left is telecommunication and I bet it is on his sights a giant in the making indeed

I am not really excited about what Dangote is doing. Even with Dangote, what is the economic status of an average Nigerian? People like Dangote operates at Macro levels, but the real impact is at the micro-levels. The curse of African/Nigeria wealth is that it was not being designed to affect people at the micro-level. In Europe and America, the Government try to ensure that majority of people can live a decent life, without being rich by meeting their basic needs. In Nigeria and most African nations, it is the basic needs that remain largely unmet. We need an economic system that will solve the basic needs of the people and not just satisfying the demand of the few rich and affluent. The economic environment in Nigeria is so skewed, it is ONLY people like Dangote that can thrive. But how many people are in the class of Dangote; less than 1% of the 1% of the 1% of the population (mind you, that is not a repetition).
