You said this was one of your more difficult reviews but I'd say it's among the best you've ever done and also the first time I've seen what I consider a fair explanation of using the Dicodes board. I've had numerous ones since the original Dani Box, and one of the first things I learned was that a new user needs to forget everything they think they know about using a board. No, it's not like an evolv or any of the copies that came from the far east. Yes, my first couple of days with the thing I hated it until Keith (not just best in the UK, but probably the world) gave me a quick and effective lesson on how to run it. Since then, I find I can do more useful things (including stuff you can't do with evolv) much quicker than any other. I still have both brands, but once I learned the logic I much prefer the Dicodes for what it can do, especially without faffing around connecting it to a computer.

I'm glad I watched this one. It made me want to dial in my V3 settings on my Exode. I looked up the manual and now I feel as that I am getting the most out of the board in relation my preferences. Thanks for another good one Mr. Todd. Also, I found out that I have taken almost 32k puffs on that thing since I bought it in October of 2022. I definitely love the Exode. There is only one thing I really wish I could change. I wish it had a flush button instead of the protruding one. I have accidentally fired the thing in my pocket more times than I would like to admit, due to my clumsiness. The Poison version doors I have are the only doors for me, and don't have a cutout for the screen. A cutout wouldn't look as good on that version anyway, but it does make it a little more inconvenient when I want to manually power off the mod through the menu. It would be cool if they could do a 5 click off function or something, like the DNA boards, but I did adjust to a shorter auto-off setting to hopefully avoid so many mistakes on my part.

I’m lucky enough to have the DLC version of the Dani Micro they are indeed cracking mods. Keith at Creme De Vape is a legend, he’s never let me down whenever I’ve had an issue with a posh mod

Ive always wanted one of these micro's, it's just the slickest, smallest mods with a good chip you can find. I would however drop it and break it so $350 is a bit much for something I know I'll run into the ground unfortunately because I would use it daily.

Looks very nice with that Kayfun. Though even with extra button, the menu still seems confusing. I wonder if they're going to add another button and make the menu system more intuitive in the future 🤔

Every time I watch you say: hey, I should try some MTL atomizer because not only they look nice but I also think that I'd enjoy them. Anyway, the devices are beautiful but, for my vaping style, I'd took the 21700 just because of the battery life. Enjoy them and thanks for the video.

you can t go wrong with dicodes or dna, both great boards.dna is easier to use like you said disodes is a bit more acurate but you can actually appreciate this only in lower watt.dani is build like a truck if you do an anual cleaning/maintenance it will last for years.micro for the big paw guys is in the limit where you could say it kinda gets annoyingly small so i guess the new 21700 should be perfect size.thanks for the review, looking forward for the 21700 one

Great review Mr Todd, dicodes devices and chips are in a different league from almost all other devices. I'll add also the aftercare from dicodes is the best in the business from personal experience. This vid reminded me I need another one 😉 and 100% Keith and Lisa are the best of the best

A dab of No-ox (not Noalox) will work wonders on the SS threads. All of my Danis get the treatment.

Amazing how they keep making smaller danis, a beautiful and simple mod. Yes evolv is more intuitive, but I prefer harder but better experience than just intuitive. Dumb question but, this updated version is it software, or do you need the new physical board?

It's the same mod that was released a couple years back my friend, couple little tweaks over time but basically the same.

Great video, Todd! I don't care for single 18650 Mods, though I do have some either won or sent for review, but if I did, I would certainly look into this Dani Box Micro by Dicodes. I personally have issues with DNA boards because you have to use Escribe to configure a lot of things. I like TC, but the DNA SS316L setting, and the curve from Steam Engine I entered manually, are not strong enough for me, as in nowhere near enough vapor. TC with other Mods, like Smok and YiHi, have a TCR setting which can be adjusted up and down so I can find the setting I like. I have no idea how to change the SS316L curve for a DNA board, so I cannot use it, but the DNA250C has Replay, so I use that instead. However, Replay has its issues, too. I have seen that DNA boards can use a TCR number (or at least it's mentioned in Escribe), so I will have to research how to do that. Cheers

Because you mentioned the dicodes vs evolv camps.. I'm going to be that W⚓️ and say, bring back provari! 😁 Just looked on the site at these and after seeing there's an 18500 version I'm sold.

Also, I set the video to 2160p 60fps in a 8k screen with refresh rate of 200hz at .25 speed so I can see the scratches but only found a grumpy broccoli

You could buy replacement bodies made from a clear or coloured plastic. No idea about these micros but on the mini changing the outer shell is a breeze.

@craigfisher1937 i cannot confirm, but I know the SBS requires soldering at certain points. Not sure about the Micros
