hello, Dani here. I made this music video with my iPhone 7+ and iMovie. It's about the internet, (namely online dating) all in the style of the quick-content apps we use on a day-to-day basis. Inside this video we meet a girl, watch her unravel through her webcam and bare witness to the melting of her mind, which is breaking under the strain of her dystopian digital distress. We have a look at the concepts of loneliness, obsession and technological isolation… so all nice cheery subjects. It was inspired by my friend who rang me very upset one day because he had been ghosted by a person he had fallen hard for online, whom he had never met in person. Hope you don’t hate it.
