+Markas Clark The fact he was severely concussed from the Usos double back superplex during the match and had no memory of anything after getting dropped until he was backstage showed that he was a wrestling machine by doing all that on instinct and also a guy who got out of the business at a good time.

You need only remember the night after WM 30 when the crowd was Yes-ing so damn hard he could barely cut his promo. Then when they chanted "You deserve it!" he began to tear up. To this day that always gets me because you could see he was holding back tears when they chanted that. Genuinely the best RAW after WM monent ever. Thank you D-Bry. Thank you for the memories, and thank you for leaving a legacy. Yes! Yes! Yes!

When did this become a compitition on who had a better retirement speech????, a wrestler just had to give up what he loves because his body won't let him do it anymore, we shouldn't be comparing on who had a better retirement speech, it's sad that both guys are gone, "nothing will touch edge's retirement speech" and "this is sadder" what a bunch of arseholes you guys are

I started watching wrestling in 2005. And I did watch it until 2012. It wasn't a big deal for me. I didn't quite miss it to be honest. Early this year I hit depression really hard. Or should I say it hit me. It doesn't matter. So when I heard about Daniel Bryan's retirement I thought "oh, I used to know that guy, what happened to him?" I wanted to see people's reactions to his retirement and I found this video. This is the first video of WhatCulture I've ever watched. And you've guys have been with me ever since. Those long sleepless nights, the anxiety and sadness were suddenly gone. Needless to say I started watching wrestling again because of you guys. It's been a long journey already, and I feel that you guys are really important to me. I don't know where I'd be if I haven't found you. This is why I'm telling you this. I just wanted you guys to see the actual impact you can cause on someone's life. Thank you.

Honestly one of my favorite DB moments and maybe one of the funniest moments in wwe for me was when during a match between him and Tyson Kid; Byran rolls himself up into a ball. It's in such a way Tyson can't pin his shoulders so he just rolls him around the ring for a minute. The crowd genuinely laughed and it was so entertaining for something so simple. The best thing about Bryan is he took wrestling seriously but, not too seriously. He knew how to entertain the fans on every point of the spectrum and he will be missed.

I am an ALT over in Japan. During one of my "Do you like ___? Yes/No" lessons, the kids started chanting 'Yes!' I then immediately booted up a couple of KZbin videos of ol' DB (Bray Cage match/in Kofi's face) and they thought he was THE BEST THING EVER. Needless to say, YES! chants are now a staple of my English lessons. Thank you, Daniel Bryan.

Before he was anywhere near a world championship. Before he got over big with the "Yes'" movement. When he was just a talented midcarder, I was at a live RAW in which Daniel Bryan was in the opening dark match. During his entrance, he did his pose on the turnbuckle where he raises both arms while making the #1 sign towards the section of the arena I was sitting in. I stood up doing the same pose and he pointed right at me in acknowledgement. I had already been a fan, but with that simple gesture he became one of my favorites. So happy that he was able to go on to reach the top. We'll miss seeing you in the ring, D-Bry.

No offense but Daniel Bryan did seem like a "resurrection" of Chris Benoit. They were both over with the crowd, they had the same moveset and that underdog anti-authority babyface gimmick and finally they both won the big one at the grandest stage of them all, WrestleMania. Like if u agree dislike if u don't.

Daniel Bryan has given me so many moments it's tough to chose from. I loved his journey to the ROH world title, matches against Nigel McGuinness, his first NXT match vs Jericho. Watching him win money in the bank, his feud with CM Punk and his win at Wrestlemania 30.

If you look at a lot of the wrestlers now a lot of them are very sloppy. Daniel knew how to sell it in the ring and sell it to the crowd. Plus his whole story of being the underdog is amazing too. And yeah he's won every title besides women's and nxt. Only 6 wrestlers including him have done that.

Needed to rephrase comment due to multiple grammatical errors and shiz, so I'll break it down. Daniel Bryan was quite possibly the best wrestler of this generation, just not in WWE. He's been wrestling for 17 years since graduating High School and has become one of the most illustrious wrestlers in the independent scene and in companies Dragon Gate, NOAH, so on and so forth. In these companies he's brought them to recognition by winning the best technical wrestler of the year award from every wrestling journalist for 5-6 years in a row and has had a career only 4 years short of Benoit's. He's basically Benoit 2.0 without the sad ending and was pretty much one of the most over babyfaces with the PG audience. The moveset is similar to say the least but Benoit pretty much set the precedent for any wrestler in likeness to him, so there's little to no space of innovation or what could be done anymore.

Toe Cutter He hasn't wrestle that long in the wwe. They're still missing wrestlers in the H.O.F. Plus what do you mean by one of the most popular of all time? They're hundreds of most popular. Only difference is Daniel reign was too short. You're all just feeling sorry for him. So now i guess if anyone say they're retiring on wrestling then i guess they're in the H.O.F.

@TopDog69
@TopDog69 9 жыл бұрын
Ill Will Daniel Bryan vs. CM Punk (multiple times actually) Daniel Bryan vs Dolph Ziggler from like 2010. Daniel Bryan vs. Cesaro Bryan Danielson vs. KENTA Daniel Bryan vs. Seth Rollins Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H Bryan Danielson vs. Nigel McGuinness Daniel Bryan/Kane/Ryback vs. The Shield Bryan Danielson vs. Takeshi Morishima Daniel Bryan vs. Chris Jericho I think your problem here is that you simply don't know enough about his history as a wrestler and he absolutely is one of the greatest in-ring workers there's been, and is respected and revered by basically everyone. You need only look at everyone in the business who has commented on him talking about how important he's been to the business and how respected as a man he is. And with the Hall of Fame, the WWE doesn't necessarily just look at someone's career in JUST WWE, they take in to account their full body of work and their legacy, and Bryan more than qualifies on that basis alone. These probably aren't even a definitive "greatest" matches, they're just great matches. And it's not even mentioning great matches like his match with Cena, Batista/Orton, Sheamus, Orton etc.

All his moments from when I was 10 to now when I'm 16 Daniel Bryan made WWE better through these 6 years and I will never not cry thinking about his retirement because Daniel Bryan is my hero
