Jose Aldo was 30 years old when he lose to Max Holloway, he wasn't even close to the 35 years old curse. Not sure how can anyone say Jose Aldo wasn't in his prime when he lose to Max and Conor. Jose Aldo's title competition is not close to Max's or Volk's title competition, Aldo is arguably the no.3 best featherweight after Max and Volk, as we already know Aldo in his prime could never beat Max or Volk.

The problem with Jones fighting Stipe is we still wont know if Jon is HW champion worthy if he beats Stipe because Stipe hasn't fought in 4 years. I get why Jones wants to fight Stipe... But that gives him ZERO legitimacy at HW. Fighting Tom is necessary. I dont care what came first. This is where we are now. Why are we allowing Toms career and every other HW to be put on hold because Jon wants to get a guaranteed win against an old Stipe? That doesn't validate his win against Gane either. it does NOTHING for Jon nor we the fans.
