3:34 I’d argue that Michael Chandler is in a better position right now than Gaethje. He’s further away from a title shot but being in TUF and being set up with a Mcgregor fight is going to do alot more for Chandler’s life than fighting Fiziev will do for Gaethje. The only thing that makes it worth while is if Justin wins the belt, otherwise a fight as high profile as the Chandler/Mcgregor fight changes your life as a fighter. I’d rather take that than be the perennial #2 ranked and #3 ranked guy in the division who can’t get over the hump.

Many retired UFC fighters have a hard time finding work after their fighting careers ends. The least DC could have done was given that opportunity to someone who was actually in the game! Ariel helwani or brett okamoto have never entered the octagon you know?😂🤦‍♂️ Anthony smith has spoken about how much effort it took to get into the espn gig. They don't just put any random person on TV just because they've fought before. There is a reason the most well spoken fighters are the ones landing these jobs. Dc would have been given a small list of names of potential cohosts. He picked the one who he thought would have the most chemistry. That's good business. If you were at work and had the opportunity to work with a friend or an unknown colleague, you would choose your friend.
