+Giulio Zoppello How? Watch all four of the others twice apiece. Then watch My Left Foot only once. That's how.

+Giulio Zoppello DDL the clear winner. You obviously missed my point. And you misspelled "arrogant," dipshit.

Daniel now has 3 Oscars. Tom, none. Till this date both of them had their best performances ever. And that year they still had Morgan and Robin. What a year. But Born on 4th of July should have got Best Picture. Amazing film!

I got goosebumps just hearing the nominees. I paused the video, i couldnt take it anymore. Every single one of them gave their lives into those roles. Oh the 90s

Jodie Foster on stage. The year before (1989) she was on stage getting an Oscar for her role in The Accused she would start working on The Silence Of The Lambs that year (1990) then after i's release in 1991, the next year (1992) she would be back on stage receiving her 2nd Oscar.

I am Irish and saw this as a kid with school in the theatres. I was shocked when I saw Daniel on the news months later as an able-bodied man accept the Oscar. I was convinced he was a disabled actor trying to portray Christy Brown (truly unbelievable performance).

Firs time I've seen this clip and what a beautiful direct speech. Very moving and the Oscar was totally deserved. What a truly amazing acting performance. I love My Left Foot, it encouraged me to buy Christy Brown's books and my life has been enhanced by the pleasure of the reading of his autobiography and his beautiful poetry as well as his beautiful paintings.
