I think the rematch is likely. Too long a wait for Usyk/Fury. Makes sense for both men I think. Solidifies the victory for Dubois if he wins. Bet this was his biggest payday so he gets another which is great for him. As for AJ, the rematch gives him a chance to get the win back and to get another sh*t load of money as the A-side before he’s done.

Yes AJ had done good but let's be honest we had not seen him hurt.. we didn't know how he would respond under pressure he went back to Ruiz 1 fight... he's done, his chin is gone and he breaks under pressure (showboats,sticks tounge out,bests chest,talks to crowd,everything except intelligently defend himself).. he's done against top fighters

Yep I agree. And you know what encapsulates all you say….one word…..ego! Despite Joshua coming across as being humble, if you really listen to him he has a massive ego. He’s been protected his whole career. Dubois is not a fight he would have taken without a belt being on the line. He had to go through him and, what was always going to be obvious for me, he came up well short!

Ref thought he was doing AJ a favor by not calling the knockdown in the 3rd, instead he allowed Joshua to take more punishment. Had the ref made the right call, the knockdown would have been called and by the time both fighters returned to the center of the ring the bell would have rung. That was one of the clear examples of a ref showing prefence since the Haney/Garcia fight.

Dubois was just better, AJ did make some mistakes, the Ref was a bit of a mess but Dubois genuinely pushed the pace, started way quicker and was always the front runner. AJ has so much heart & people need to stop doubting his chin, he woud've been out the fight Round 3 if he was "chinny". Dubois deserves this!

Nothing about this was surprising. The media have been talking all week like this is a foregone conclusion, like Joshua is 'back' despite his only convincing win being against an MMA fighter wuith one pro fight. We're right back to where we were before Ngannou, looking like a spent force with no ideas. You've been asking 'why British fans treat AJ this way', and it's because we know boxing. AJ is a good fighter but he's been protected his whole career, as a golden goose for Matchroom, his sponsors and the media. The train has just come to the end of the tracks and he's had a sensational career, making money well beyond his talent, in my opinion. He should sail off and enjoy the rest of his life.
