Positive comeback for Dubois. His corner said the right thing at the end of the first because his head was perfectly stationary on the centre line throughout the 1st round, which is something I'd thought would have been seriously worked on during his camp following the Joyce fight, but clearly not. @@alfonso598 People are clueless about boxing mate. I remember Rob Beckett getting in a ring with body protector and got a "light hitting" boxer to hit him with a body shot... he went down in agony. People have no clue how hard an actual pro boxer hits. I sparred against a pro LWW once and he went light on me, and I was a good 2 stone heavier. He still hit me once early on with a hook and it felt like he'd just hit be with a bag of wet cement.

Agreed,good spot. He was up on his toes. Classic amateur/Olympic style. Nothing wrong with that at all. Allows his main defence to be a lean back or a step back rather than the slip, which I think he struggles with. He needs to switch between that and planting his feet when he needs to and then back up on his bike after the exchange, but that’ll come with time and I think that’s where his training team want to take him. Obviously against lighter chins like this guy he didn’t need to plant as much to lay him out but against the likes of Joyce the shots have got to come from Mother Earth.

While I'm happy for DDD and Shane, this is yet another example of the abject mediocrity of the modern HW division. How on earth was a guy like Dinu a) Ranked No 3 fairly recently by the WBA b) had a 20-2 record. The answer is the fact that today 99.9% of HWs are terrible. Before anyone starts banging on about how "it's so exciting in the HW scene today" excitement does not equal quality. Put it this way.... I had a quick check back to 2000 and the guy ranked No 3 by the WBA was Wladimir Klitschko. Evander Holyfield was ranked ahead of him and Lennox Lewis was the champion. Says it all.

Joyce ate dubious power like it was nothing and crushed Warren's soul in the process, that sh*t was just too funny lol. But, gum flappers don't find his style entertaining so I guess it's hard to make a fight for Joyce. What HW in their right mind is gonna want a piece of him anyway, dubous only did it cos Warren's an idiot. Joyce is a nightmare, he's got club hammers for fists, literally a granite chin and he just does not stop. Gotta be a horrible nights work for anyone!!!!
