Thank you, Lou for this message. It is rarely heard, and even more rarely accepted. My husband and I have 14 children, albeit it is our second marriage (8 from previous, and 3 together) and 3 are adopted. We’ve fostered many, many more. When we accept God’s heart for us there are blessings incomparable. I pray this mandate becomes our normal once again.

Wow! Nope, can't say I have heard this message before. I have 4 children and homeschool them. I feel like I barely squeak by. Trying to be everything to everyone. Schooling just one of them feels like a full time job, now multiply that by 3 plus a baby. Lol. And cleaning and cooking and also desiring to do Bible study, pray and worship. Can't imagine 12. I wonder how much quality time she is able to spend with each? I have to run a tight ship here or it all falls apart. Hah! Early morning and then evening is my "me time" when I can read and pray and sing uninterupted. Trying to do it all here. Still feel like I don't do enough. But also living by the grace of God.

I have a friend who is currently pregnant with her 12th. They homeschool and 2 of their children graduated high school 1-2 years early. They help one another....it is a beautiful cohesiveness. There really is a tipping point after a few get a bit older that it becomes a community of sorts. Blessings!

I am a mother of seven children and I homeschooled them all. There are so many days when you feel like you aren't getting it right. I know that feeling. But be blessed and know that God loves you. Even on days when you don't get to pray or read your Bible God is still there and he loves you! Thank the Lord we don't have to be perfect for him to love us. It's not about hyper grace but it is about how much He understands a mother's ❤️.

One consideration that can be made is that when abortion is finally struck down in the United States of America, the children that will come out of that decision will need fathers and mothers willing to adopt. Think of the number of children that will need the heart of a father/mother in the days to come.

I had to ask God to forgive me for putting off having another child. I kept saying "oh I need to wait until I make X more money, until I lose X amount of weight, until ..." etc. And this year, God has truly made me hit the Pause Button, and BE STILL. This has allowed me to see that those things don't matter as much as I thought. I was "doubting" Him, and relying only on myself to believe that He wasn't going to "provide" the way I wanted to. We are now TTC, and I am praying everyday that God's timing follows through as He wishes. I know bringing a child into this world right now is scary, but when you have FULL and COMPLETE trust in the Lord, all that noise goes away. I hope I made sense. Lol God bless!!

I heard God say the most amazing thing one day about this one day back in 2012. He said He didn't really care so much about putting the right people together for marriage as much as He just wanted people that would have babies because so many are being aborted and not having kids. I was driving through a college campus and saw a guy and a girl arguing which looked like a serious relationship thing, and I started praying a 'safe' prayer like if God wanted them to be together to work things out etc. And while I was praying, God interrupted me and said He didn't care so much whether they were "supposed" to be together. He just wanted and needed couples to have babies. I had this sense that He had so many destinies/lives in heaven that He wanted to send to the earth, but because of abortion and so few people having babies that things were urgent and at this point He would "take anyone" willing to have babies at all.

This is so true. Too late, i realized that birth control did not honor Gods word that children are a blessing! Ive repented and now see how multiple siblings enables so much more development of identity and social skills, etc. Why do we always think we have a better way than God ordained?

Carolyn. Beloved by the Lord. Whether you are single or married, you can have A BABY. Just try looking into adoption, or foster adoption. You would go through a Christian foster parent agency to prepare for licensing. The adoption of an unwanted baby can be a little different from birthing your own in terms of the hands on care experience. You don't get the experience of pregnancy or childbirth but there are things that you can do to make that baby feel the same as your flesh and blood. I'll try to be brief! 😄 As soon as you bring him/her home crawl into your bed with your baby. Spend the first 2 days cuddling and caring for your baby. Laying on your bare belly and chest as much as possible accomplishes that sense in you and your husband’s psyche and souls that THIS BABY IS YOUR FLESH AND BLOOD, and the same with your baby. So don't be afraid that you're barren forever. Also, there was a time long ago in Vietnam when some women were caring for baby orphans in a time of war and extended lack of food. These were nuns who were desperate to save these tiny ones, so they prayed for a miracle. They asked for the ability to lactate and nurse them enough to survive. They tried to create the sensation of a baby nursing every 3 hours for a few weeks then tried to nurse those babies. Surprisingly, even without pregnancy hormones in their blood, clear colostrum came! 4 days later MILK came, in a lesser amount but there was milk. Since the ’80s lactation nurse consultants have found ways to help moms in these circumstances to nurse their babies. The process is helped with supplemental formula WHILE nursing. After a day or 2 of nursing the baby it feels very natural and easier every day, and there is no strangeness about it. Your baby draws about 1/4 of his nutrition from you and 3/4 from supplementation, but this gives him your immunity and the comfort and bonding of nursing which is much better than bottle feeding. If this is all new to you, research it, and see if you have the desire to try. I know it to be a great blessing to adoptive families. God bless you! 💜 From a mom with secondary infertility.

I agree, my aunt said she wasn’t impressed with Amy Coney Barrett because she believed birth control was fine with God. I told her, what do you think the gateway was for abortion, you guessed it, birth control of all wacky kinds. Just like marijuana is the gateway to other hard drugs. Drug addicts need more, just like what happened with birth control, many women use abortion as birth control, some women having seven or eight of them. Let’s get back to the basics and have children and declare they are a blessing like God said.
