Remember the Speed Stars are sort of semi-serious racers, so Im assuming they dont frequently change up or upgrade their cars which saves a lot of money for repairs and such. Iketani also seems like a simple man who is passionate about his car, so im assuming he doesnt need a lot in his daily life to go by. Which, in turn, leaves a lot of money to the side for repairs. That and Yuichi probably helped a bit.
