Yeah but she needs to take a breather, losing the child was hard on him too, as a couple they need to grieve together and spend some time together and remind themselves of their love for each other. After they heal from that loss they can start trying to have a baby again. If not it seems like there's nothing to that relationship that marriage if there's no child.

I hate the series. I have read the books more than once and I love them. I recognise the effort to make the plot modern and realistic by hollywood style and I still hate it.

In addition, marriage is not only about having children, if you have such a problem together you could solve. And your husband loves you so much, he wouldn't even accept a surrogate. You could have solved the problem with him by being there for him. And instead, you went on being selfish and got this guy killed. If it wasn't enough, you fell in love with someone else. It's a pity to be faithful to someone else when your husband dies, not to be faithful to his memory 😒

I just saw the show and I said a big hoot to her. No, she's so selfish that she's losing her child and making her husband's life miserable, like it's his fault. He's trying to fix the situation, he's trying to support the woman. The woman continues to be selfish and eventually causes the man to die. He dies, he falls in love with someone else before that time, he cries to the man that he can't have a child, or your angelic husband is dead, look at your problem.I was officially so pissed off that I could barely stand her on the show. Thanks no pity to the man who was to her it was to be selfish or I watched how unnecessary character I was too full, or this woman called Mel 😒

You're right ! Its not necessary to have a children. Mark was right. They needed a break from all this children thing. He loved her more than Mel loved him. She was too obsesed with this idea and she doesn't figured out that she hurts him with this break up idea. It was her fault that he died...
