Daniel was the true hero. He actually had a pure soul and didnt realise it, didnt even believe he could sacrifice himself for someone until he did. I think a major turning point for him was when his nephew was told "I'm proud of you " for doing something as sick as that. They'd all become monsters.

I am in love with what you did at 2:02 and the foreshadowing. Alex, the man Grace vowed to love for the rest of her life and the one who everyone expected to save her ended up being the one willing to kill her. Then it fades to Daniel, who claims that he would never risk his life for her, ends up shielding her with his body. I love this ship and this video. Fantastic work!

Yeah I think there was very subtle context that Daniel had a thing for Grace because of her kindness. He could sense she was a legitimately good person, and kind of disassociated during the hunt. Then realized one good person was better than a family of killers.

I think what made people love Daniel was the fact he was subversive and one of the few who genuinely had a soul and morality. You can see his disappointment and sadness when he sees his wife since she never really truly loved him. What made him rather magnetic with Grace imo was how selfless and kind he was for the most part even when it came to the hardest decision, he chose to save Grace and fight for his ideals that she is innocent and should not have to deal with this shitshow and he really sees the good in others like with his brother. Hell he even believed his brother truly loved Grace and would do anything to protect her but in the end, he chose to turn against her while Daniel was the one who actually cared the most. This parallel and contrast comparison really makes you see their chemistry and care for the other which is quite a treat since you dont normally expect this in a death version of hide and seek.

Grace, you chose the wrong brother ... It makes me sad to see that he died, but his death was at least more worthy than that of his family because at least in the end he did the right thing to protect the innocent woman. Alternative end: After the rescue workers rushed into the house to put out the fire and to see if someone was alive who could save you, you found Daniel's body, which at first lay motionless but still had a pulse, his condition was critical but they were able to stop his bleeding locally. They had to act quickly and drive him to the hospital, but before you could take them out into the light, Grace noticed and stopped you so that he didn't end up like his family. She put the wedding ring from herself and Alex, on Daniel's and hers finger, so that they could drive him to the hospital without any problems and were "married" for the time being. End of the song: Daniel was rehabilitated and learned from a nurse what had happened in the family home and what Grace was doing for him and saw the ring on his finger. The two found the partner for life, namely each other. Their true love ❤ Sorry for the overly long Comment 🙈😅

Daniel Grace moments are not romantic in my opinion. I think it's a story of GOD'S GRACE. Daniel is given an opportunity to do the right thing cos he is the Least Bad in his family. And Daniel does exactly that. He saved Grace. And by doing so, maybe he gets redemption. Maybe he doesn't need to suffer the same afterlife as the sinister others in his family. So I think Grace and Daniel basically save each other by God's Will. Or that's what I think.

Can't think of any happy ending with a "couple" - Daniel/Grace are not a couple more like a fanmade one - similar to this one 😔 If you like the genre/kind of couple anyway, I highly recommend you to watch the mini-series "And then there were none" 😊
