Just ordered a holster from you a few days ago. Can’t wait till it gets here. I love my DD H9.

thank you!

Any idea when you might have light bearing holsters for the H9 like you mention in the video?

I've test fired this gun. It's easy to get on target and has minimal recoil. But is it worth $1300? I'm not so sure. I'd be more inclined to buy it if it were around $800-$900.

People hating on a gun they never shot just cause DD made it. They want new shit but don’t. Thanks for the review.

Having shot one, I can't stand the trigger. Other than that, it's fine, just not a 1300 dollar gun. I'd pay line 800 for it though

Trigger is similar to a stock glock trigger, at least the one at my LGS

How is the slide not going into battery on mag reload issue?

I like the looks of it, something different as far as how slim it is and it's size, the 1911 type style trigger but they dropped the ball with the optic cut having no bosses like the 1st gen PDP's. 2 videos on the DD H9 had issues with their optic plate coming loose.

Except there are people like myself with G1 PDP's and thousands of rounds...

The Gen 1 PDPs didn’t have issues though. You can watch Aaron Cowan of Sage Dynamics drop test it and it was fine after multiple drops. One person with a background in “mechanical design” posted a video questioning the lack of bosses without actually seeing any problem and people on the internet jumped on the band wagon.

It actually has a much lower bore axis than the original Hudson H9 and it has a bit lower bore axis than the Glock 17 which puts it in range of Steyr 9 pistols & Archon Type B guns.

I like the look of the old Hudson way better. This is so normal I don’t see why not get a regular 1911 or 2011. The Hudson looked awesome that was literally why most people wanted one since most people didn’t actually get to shoot it. This is forgettable. If the price isn’t incredible compared to a nice 2011 it’s not gonna do much, especially since it’s a striker and there are some incredible striker fired coming out this year. Especially since your doing nothing for the hype with your “it’s not horrible” general revue. DD H9 it’s not horrible.

This gun absolutely shreds my thumb with a high grip. other than that, seemed alright, but probably wouldn’t buy one myself

Yeah DD took over 3 years and finally produced a gun with bad barrels and other problems
