@@16timesaday39 Poker has always been degenerate, and it's alive and well. There has to be losing players to pay off the winners. That's the grand illusion. It still sells. Some still find a way to win.

@@16timesaday39 yes I agree with you that online poker is dead. If you adjust your game and play live cash at the 5/10 level it could be worth your while on a part-time basis on the weekends. I really think that former online poker's bemoaning their struggles with live cash simply are not willing to recognize that life cash is a different animal than online poker. It takes a expanded set of skills, study, the practice and experience to beat live cash.
@snowmonkey48635 жыл бұрын
@@16timesaday39 Yes, games tend to be more boring then back in the heyday. I think I'm one of the lucky few who lives close enough to a large cardroom so it's never the same old thing with the same old players. We've got a good mix of regs, tourists, and casual players. All ages, all races, all kinds of skill levels and bankrolls. It's still fun, win or lose most times.

He is definitely a lot more mature adult and a lot less ragey nerdy gamer with ultra elitist expectations (is the meta online). IMO He used to be a pretty big douchebag 10-15 yrs ago. Viktor Blom was the catalyst to re-assess his lifestyle and behaviour imo, obviously the full tilt crash, helped a lot of poker people stop being a degenerate thou. He is a good ambassador now but still in a bubble, just a much healthier one. Best of luck in the future.
