@Sycrxw Жыл бұрын
@MelonCawly road rat was just a comparison to what a punk is. But in this case road rat is like being homeless, out on the street. Like a hoodlum, which is what "punk" is mostly compared to, people who don't follow social norms, open minded thinking instead of blindly following orders, rebellious. If ur ever interested where punk came from, there's a small explanation on the history of it that took place in Britain, the USA just made "punk-rock" music a very well known thing in the 70s-80s.

I watched it this past weekend, and he was by far my favorite variant of Spider-Man. He's animated to look like those cut and paste paper flyers you see plastered on the walls outside music venues, all with ripped edges and mismatching fonts with marker scribbled over the top of it all. His movement looked like you're flipping through the pages of a magazine, and his colour palette was constantly changing - he'd be technicolor one moment, black and grey tone the next, and then textured prints. But what cut through all that noise and chaos is Daniel's voice and heart. Hobie is an anarchist, and he embodies the real punk values of disobedience, pacificism, vandalism, sabotage, and humanism. Despite introducing chaos and sticking to his consistently inconsistent and contrarian views, he admires figures who don't follow "the plan" and who act according to their morality and compassion even when it means sacrificing yourself or the safety and security of operating within someone else's system. I have never read a Spider-Punk comic before, but I'm really inclined now to get myself down to the nearest comic shop to see what they have in stock. He's a total badass, and I can see this version of Spidey getting a lot more popular and more screen time thanks to Daniel's portrayal of him.
