Actually all we know about American culture is African American. Nobody here never heard about Bruce Springsteen or Dolly Parton but we all know who Flavor Flave is IYKWIM 😄 Black people around the world, we are closer than we think and we should embrace that instead of looking down on each other as the colonizers/slave masters taught us to do

The melanin was "POPPIN" in this movie. Also, for all the foreigners watching this film please understand this is the true America when you drive down the highway. The gold street's that you thought America was filled with is a lie. The thought that everywhere looks like southern California, Miami beach and New York city is a falsehood. This movie captured my country in a beautiful way that's not all "glitz and glamour".

When do you think Africans and West Indians will offer opportunity to black Americans instead of the other way around? It’s ALWAYS the other way around.

He is such a great actor! Love his versatility! So different in every role he plays. 👏🏾💗And he's right! We don't know their names, which may speak to the often dehumanization of black bodies.

So weird hearing Daniel speak in his native British accent when I've only seen him mostly in non-British accented roles (except for his role in Black Mirror).
