one example from top of the head. Uku suviste - pretty little liar on 2019 or Indrek Ventmann - Tempel 2018 - lost to a russian in a overpriced flashy gimmick dress singing in french or something i don't remember exactly. Sure, it's fun and all. But like... I feel like eurovision is losing it's culture. Estonian excels at songs like the one i mentioned in 2018. It has a lot of history with singing, it even sang it'sself to be independent. So like, everyone that enters is either some overly tryhard rapper influenced by foreign rap, or in english and losing the calm feel, or just chasing after the generic cliche kind of song. Now, not eurovision related, or even eesti laul related, but go check out things like SHANON - Varbad liivas or things like Tanel Padar & The Sun (for example "Õnne valem" or "Võta aega" or browse around, anything from them is basically Peak estonian culture.) If estonia pulled anything like that from it's culture and vibes and entered eurovision it would be great, it doesn't matter if it wins, but if it spreads the vibe that we seem to not want to share, it would be pretty interesting in my opinion.
