He died 2 hours after he was in police custody when his K2 overdose caused him to go into cardiac arrest. Neither police nor EMTs would give him mouth to mouth for fear of contagion and both treated him with Narcan, which is ineffective for ketamine overdoses. Those decisions caused Neely to be deprived of oxygen from the moment he went into cardiac arrest until ER staff could treat him. He died in the hospital. He was also having a bad sickle cell flare up, which would have caused the poor man excruciating oain. He had multiple sickle cell triggers: drug overdose, his agitated psychotic state, oxygen deprivation, etc. The prosecution claimed that he was in a chokehold for 6 minutes, but a chokehold causes complete loss of consciousness in 15 seconds while Neely struggled hard enough that it took three men 5 minutes to get him under control, which would be impossible if he was oxygen deprived. One of the men helping Penny in the video said the DA pressured him into changing his testimony by threatening to charge him too. I respect him telling the truth. Witnesses said that Penny was trying to use as little pressure as possible, although there was disagreement among the witnesses over whether he lost consciousness or gave up for the last minute.There are photos taken from an angle that show Penny with his forearm over Neely's clavicle instead of his neck. At any rate, Neely didn't have the severity of bruising and amount of broken capillaries characteristiof a chokehold death. As for Jordan's grieving father, he abandoned his son when he was little and refused to take custody when Jordan's mom was murdered, which left him in foster care until he aged out into homelessness. It's sad that he didn't take care of Jordan when he was alive.

This has to be the most ignorant person I have ever seen Daniel Penny stood up for people to protect them from one crazy individual and now it's his fault
