Hi, my name is Daniel Profeta. Do you like indie folk? Alternative rock? Lo-fi production? Cool lyrics? Folk punk? Well then, welcome in. I am a sellout trying to get rich and famous.
If a human reads this, I want to let you know how incredibly happy I am that you're doing this for the independent community. This is one specific track I wanted you to check out, but I have 3 albums out right now with quite a few genre bending songs.
I want to be an artist. I'm an actor, musician, and writer and like putting those things together in different ways. I am attempting to create music in the way Beck, Bright Eyes, Daniel Johnston, The Mountain Goats, Mitski, Alex G, Elliott Smith, or Car Seat Headrest do (just a quick list of influences). A strong focus on lyrics, strange interesting compositions, and the ability to create meaningful songs as a solo artist. Weird "experimental" music which still (sometimes) follows pop templates. Instruments being whatever is available. I try to use different genres to influence my sound, and it often makes for songs that go places I didn't expect when I started writing them
I want to find an audience who wants something unique. My (farfetched) goals for the future include touring regularly and collaborating with lots of different independent artists. Loved the ending 😏Hi Daniel. That was great. So glad I clicked on this. Hey, I wanted to let you know that I'm reading The Chronicles of Amber on my channel. Not sure if you ever finished reading it, but I'd love it if you joined me sometime. Also, I don't remember if I told you this, but I finished my second book, and the interesting thing is that part of the story ends up in Amber. Thought that might interest you. That's also why I decided to read it. It's been like 30 years since I last read it, and I've forgotten so much of the story.
