I really respect how Dan has managed to somewhat detach from the Harry Potter series. Unfortunately actors who are known mainly for one role end up stuck there being unable to branch out. But Dan has been in loads of films since and my first thought of him genuinely isn’t always Harry Potter any more. Which I’m impressed by. He’s a great actor and seems like a really cool, down to earth guy

People forget, Daniel has made a point of staying away from big rolls due to the restrictions and requirements it places on the actor. There's no way in hell he'd work for Disney/marvel at this point. Dude did a series of films once, decided he didn't like it, went to indie films and has lived comfortably off of his Harry Potter royalties ever since.
