@@SlimeandDIYs when the Japanese language is written in hepburn or Romanji, there will be a "u" written at the end of "Desu". But the "u" is silent when the word is spoken. In the video, Daniel pronounced the "u", which suggests that he didn't properly learn how to speak Japanese (which is totally fine, he's a busy man). Weeaboos, foreigners who are fanatics of Japanese culture and culturally appropriate Japanese culture, know this rule of pronunciation well, so I'm describing what a weeb would say if they heard a person (in this case Daniel) pronouncing the "u" in "Desu". Hope that cleared things up!

Но меня это раздражает, и я планирую подтянуть свой русский язык и улучшить его настолько, чтобы иметь возможность полностью вести посетителей и на русском языке.

1:06 As for Russian he actually nailed it. His pronunciation was a little off, but overall it was great. I understood him well without thinking “what did he say?” His Russian phrase was: Smotrite “Zapiski yunogo vracha” tolko na REN-TV. (Watch “Notes of a young doctor” only on REN-TV) He did a very good job saying that. The only mistake was the incorrect stress in a word “yunogo” (means “young”) He said yunOgo but it’s right to say yUnogo. (the first syllable is stressed)

Coming from a russian family I can clearly hear if a person speaks proper Russian or not , that was horrible but yall give him a pass because he's a celebrity. He was told to repeat that phrase on camera and I promised you it took him quite a while to remember the phrase so nothing impressive there whatsoever.
