I do respect your opinion. Just that, It's not his job as a serious actor to adjust himself to YOUR children. It's your job as amom to raise your children the way you want them raised. He shouldn't base his decisions on conservative mothers and their children. Honestly.. which actor would base his/her actions to some children?! He's almost 19 years old; an adult! If you're so concerned about your children becoming exposed to sex, just don't let them watch the play. It's not up to actors to raise your children. It's not their responsibility to ensure that your children aren't exposed to things they are too young for. I fully understand what you're getting at, and i agree that Equus is not a play for children, but what does that have to do with Daniel Radcliffe? It's a very artistic and emotional play, and he is showing his range and true talent by taking it on. It's expected that parents will have enough control over their young children that they can shield them from such things until they're old enough. If you're not able to do that, then what business did you have having children in the first place?

Fair question. The answer is he does not have sex on stage. The play is about a teen with many disorders and it is based on real life occurances. As in most plays if they would intimate the act but in this case--the horse spooks him. He drives away the woman and blinds the horses. He never has sex or even intimates having sex. And given he blinds horses in the play--I am suprise the nudity is the big controversy.
