Lately I've been listening to Bob Dylan's Saved and wondering if that album ( production and arrangements and not so much themes) was a direct influence on Romano's Modern Pressure album. I know that Dylan is the influence but wondered if Saved was the specific sound he had in mind when making the album.

I was thinking it kind of sounded like Desire-Street Legal Era Dylan, but yeah the 80s stuff too.

It also sounds a bit like Dylan's live sound around the Rolling Thunder Revue tour. This version of Modern Pressure sounds a bit like the live version of Idiot Wind from the Hard Rain live album.
