In Daniel, chapter nine, the angel Gabriel told Daniel that there were "seventy weeks" determined upon the people of Israel as a nation. Verse 26 shows that the completion of this seventy week period would specifically bring the destruction of the city and the sanctuary of Jerusalem. Christ, in describing the sinfulness of the Jewish leaders in Matthew 23, closed by saying that upon that generation would come all of the righteous blood shed since Abel's. These two prophecies are directly related to one another. Christ, also in a display of the judgment that would come upon the nation, told them, "behold, your house is left unto you desolate." This is the same language that is used in Daniel chapter nine referring to the completion of the seventy weeks.

@ Thanks for asking for starters not 1 bible verse was read just mentioned for reference's. the first half was ok till the time of 19 min then it started to fall apart. at 11:52 he stated "I'LL share the one "I think" is the simplest and clearest" mmm not what the bible said but what he thinks. ?? he also stated " A scholar even called these verses the Dismal swamp of old testament critics" leading people to not believe the old scholars but his way. he also said "its true you dive in you may not come out" leading people to not study for your self just believe in him. at 15:38 he talk about 483 years = 69 weeks in years "true" looking at facts (I'm starting in the year 457 not 458) at the end of the 69 week was the year 26ac the 70th week starts in the year 27 Jesus was baptized 3 years later Jesus is cut off 'cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease" He then starts at year 458 - 483 years and then counts days in a year of 365 and said jusus was baptized no date, or no year given. also states Jesus uses different ways of counting, he might use 365 or 360 days a year. well the bible says in Numbers 14:34 and Ezekiel 4:6 that each prophetic day is a year. "......I give each day for a year......" we are not to count how many days are in a year. example this year is counted for 1 day regardless of how many days are in a year. so he also mentioned that if you start in the year 445 -483 years counting days in a year you end up in the year 29 Jesus rides in on a donkey. sorry but if you start in 445 - 483 years, you will end up after the 69 week of years is over, in the years 38ac this is way off he didn't check simple math. another thing he states there is a gap of time that is stopped. no such verse is in the bible. think about it. In the bible Verse 26 it talk about the 2nd temple is going to be destroyed and it was destroyed in 70 ac, guess what, in the year it was destroyed it was in the 2 year of the 76 week so how can time stop for one part of a verse but still go on for other parts. then to cork it all off he really doesn't know the bible when in verse 27 the word "he" is made in to an antichrist when its all about Christ Jesus All the way. and at the end he states "I cant see this passage meaning anything else but what I shared with you" I will leave you with this ((study the bible your self and the truth will set you free)) Beware of false prophets and Ai interpretations. Peter's use of a "thousand years" in 2 Peter 3:8 ""Nevertheless, do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years is like one day."" was in regard to the imminent fulfillment of God's covenant promises. Consistency points me into the same direction. 1 Peter 4:7, 17. He neither contradicts himself nor trumps Jesus' teaching on it. John 17:15 Peter proclaimed that all the prophets from Samuel forward were pointing to the days in which Peter spoke (Acts 3:23-24). Ezekiel was pointing to the first century as well. (Ezekiel 38:18) - Fulfilled 20 centuries ago, not in our future.

Keep in mind that the seventy weeks were determined upon "thy people and thy holy city", and that by the end of the seventy weeks, the city and the sanctuary would be destroyed. The implication being that there was an end to Christ's patience with His nation. Christ fulfilled the covenant that they broke well over 490 'times'. That is not necessarily to say that Christ was saying after 'seventy sevens' we should not forgive, but that, simply, "seventy weeks (were) determined upon (Daniel's) people." Therefore, we can see that the desolation of Jerusalem in A.D. 70 fulfilled the prophecies of Daniel chapter nine, against the perverse generation that rejected the Lord and his Anointed. Christ judged the nation with desolation and took away the kingdom of God and gave it to a nation bringing forth fruits (Matthew 21:43), which is the nation of believers. The "days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled" spoken of can be no other than the fulfillment of Daniel's seventy weeks with the Desolation of Jerusalem in A.D. 70. Therefore, the desolation of Palestine in A.D. 66-73 was the fulfillment of Daniel's 70th week, and the end of any temporal 'Nation of God'.

A direct parallel to Daniel 12:4 is Revelation 22:10. Daniel, as well as John, received a vision of the time of the end. Daniel is told to seal up the book, till the time of the end. Ok let's say that Christ is coming in the year 2000. From Daniel's time, approximately 586 BC till 2000, is over 2500 years. Ok, that is a good reason to seal up the book, amen? Twenty-five hundred years is an incredibly long time for a book to be sealed up until the end. Then at the end the seal of the book would be loosened, right? So, after five-hundred years (many days) had passed from Daniel to Johns book of Revelation, the angel of the Lord tells John at the end of the book to "Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand" (Revelation 22:10). "Seal not", why? "the time is at hand." If Johns vision was referring to events nearly 2000 years to come, the book should have been sealed up with John just as well as it was with Daniel. The visions that Daniel received of the end were referring to "many days" (Daniel 8:26; 10:14). "At hand" has nothing to do with events 2000 years to come. Not only was it for many days, but it was concerning what would befall the "Jews" in the latter days. So, after many days (500 years) what exactly befell the Jews? Not one stone of the temple was left upon another (Mat. 24:2), and the armies surrounded Jerusalem (Luke 21:20-22) in 70AD, because those were the days of vengeance, that all things which are written were fulfilled. You missed one very important aspect of Daniel’s 70th week! Satan will be loosed out after the 1000 yrs ! Daniel’s 70th week is split up!! 3.5 yrs after the rapture and 3.5 years after the millennial age. Daniel 9:24 below tells us why. The papacy is not in prophecy. That's an error in your eschological understanding. The Harlot was apostate, first century Jerusalem. The beast was Rome, Nero style. Our whole lives, we've been taught that Jesus would someday come back to this planet and destroy it from II Peter 3, Right? I got good news and a bright future for your kids. The idea of some literal, earth-shattering, catastrophic, cataclysmic, "universe-collapsing", element-melting, star-falling, sun- darkening, sea of blood, future-to-us Second Coming of Christ is foreign to Scripture. In fulfillment of the prophecies of Daniel chapter nine, and the prophecies of Jesus Christ, the judgment of God came upon that unprofitable nation in the seven-year war, highlighted by the destruction of Jerusalem. This was when the city of Jerusalem was besieged and utterly destroyed, left so desolate that only hyenas are said to have lived within its walls. This is the very judgment, which was promised for disobedience in Leviticus 26, Deut. 28, I Kings 9, II Chron. 7, and many other places. Matthew 24 and Luke 21 date this destruction as clearly being the desolation of the entire Jewish nation from A.D. 66-73, with the destruction of Jerusalem at the three and one half year point. A reference of Matthew 24:15 with Luke's account links the destruction of Jerusalem as occurring when that generation would see the city surrounded by an army: Mat.24:15-16, "When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judea flee unto the mountains." Using the same command for the people in Judea to flee, Christ says, in Luke 21:20, "And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed about with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh." And to clearly identify what the purpose for the desolation is; verse 22, "For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled."
