Celine Palacio Sept. 11th 2001 is a date most memorable in the United States. Some Al Qaeda terrorists hijacked passenger planes that ran into both of the World Trade Center's twin towers in New York and the Pentagon. Another plane was hijacked that was meant to be flown into either the White House or Capitol building (I'd have to look it up again), but ultimately failed and ended up crashing somewhere in Pennsylvania I think.

That whole "swedes/scandinavians stay more quiet" thing people in the comments are going on about is true to some extent. But everyone is different and if there had been another crowd it could have been extremely different. I think the main problem here is that while Sweden is a bilingual country the level of knowledge about English varies a lot. My generation and younger know English quite well, but the people in the audience seem to be around mostly 40-50 and while English was taught in school during their school years as well, it wasn't in the same extent that it is now. Therefore the reason the crowd is rather quiet is more likely to be because of a language barrier than because swedes are "more quiet"
@tommerker80635 жыл бұрын

Just because they're not laughing loudly doesn't mean that they didn't find it funny. It's a thing in Sweden, and I know plenty of people have commented this already, but we do tend to keep our emotions to ourselves a lot more than america for example. We have a general fear of standing out and being viewed as odd. We have a thing that's like a "fake law" that basically goes like "you shall not think you are better than me" sort of... it shows in everything we do

As a fellow swedish person i can tell you all that not all swedish people are like this, just the people from stockholm. I'm born and raised in Stockholm myself and this is the reason i rarely ever go into Stockholm city, the majority of the people are awful there and they get offended by almost everything. This is the reason why swedish comedians are just terrible to watch, they can't joke about anything that might be seen as offensive, so they do bits with childish humour that might be entertaining for children to watch. I get embaressed watching swedish comedians trying way to hard to please crowds with awful comedy, Sloss deserved way more appreciation for his genius bits and awesome punchlines.
