I think showing the body before the relatives were informed was really unacceptable. Did the deceased always have a black patch or birth mark on his forehead? Was he happy to show the birth mark in life? If he was faking his death regardless, he would still cover the bits that he wouldn't have wanted the whole world to see. This goes particularly to the doubting Thomas's out there.
