And even though daniel and silver’s actors are about same age , silvers character is younger than kreese but older than daniel. Daniel has the younger age advantage over Silver which is why Daniel winning makes sense. Silver and kreese lack defense which is what daniel excels at so it makes sense why silver beat kreese but not daniel. Silver has the younger age advantage over kreese. Kreese can barely move lmao the obvious body double is disturbing to me.

I love how, at 1:50, Kim Da-Eun (I call her Dragon Lady) is just watching the fight, and thinking, "I allied with THIS guy? LOSER!!!" Also, at 0:26, when Amanda says "Do What You Have To Do.......", she was really saying "END HIM!!!"

You're right. After decades, Silver didn't learn from his mistakes. He never grew mentally, emotionally, or spiritually. Danielle knew his moves and knew how to act and react. By the way. Is it just me or does Ralph Mochieo look like his skills have been refined and developed more accuracy and grace?

Johnny's skills are more bar room brawler and are also entertaining to watch, but for me there is something about watching Daniel fight that is super cool. It feels precise, measured, and efficient without a lot of wasted movement. I just love watching him.

I would love to see a Karate Kid sequel set in the 1990s or something. Something featuring Daniel, Johnny, etc. in their 20s or 30s (i.e. in their prime), competing in higher level competitions and having other karate-based adventures... (like, sure, winning the "All Valley Under 18 Karate Tournament" is impressive, but it's still only a local competition for teens, after all).

This was an amazing scene. Thomas Ian Griffith as Terry Silver was great casting originally, and still is today. Griffith became obsessed with taekwondo while in high school and earned a black belt when he was 18. He later earned a black belt in American Kenpo. His martial arts skills helped him earn him the role of Terry Silver. He is one of the few main cast members who actually had a background in martial arts originally when the movies were being made. Neither Ralph nor William can say the same although they have worked very hard over the years to learn it for the chorography fights they do to this very day. Same thing goes for most of the main cast today, with the notable exception of Jacob Bertrand who was a purple belt before getting his part.

The only problem I had with this season was the fact that Daniel's own family downplayed his trauma acting like he was overstating things until the chick from KK3 set Amanda straight. After seeing how psychotic Silver and Kreese were, why would you NOT believe Daniel's story?

Absolutely agree. I think Daniel's character took a lot of grief the way they wrote it. The way it was written, they make Daniel appear neurotic, paranoid and over dramatic. Amanda doesn't have much, if any compassion for someone she's supposed to love. If I'd been married to Daniel, I'd have wanted to know the whole story immediately so I could understand and support him. Everyone wanted to make a saint of Amanda, but I thought she was dismissive and condescending towards Daniel throughout the whole series.

To be honest i remember being a kid and growing up watching the karate kid and thinking it was awsome and just one of those great classic movies of the time but this somehow cheapens the franchise,i haven't watches the series but watched the clips and this just doesnt interest me at all.
