Daniel is one of my favorite players, His playing is so clean, melodical, and methodical, I listened to his albums and the musicianship sounds very conversational hence his term "One Band One Conversation" that's what its all about.

I like this type of playing more than all runs. This was professional,

You have frivolous solos and you have solos that tell a story. He told a story with his soloing which stands out from running all over the keys without a purpose.

Whenever I hear Daniel play, I feel like I have just been a part of a master class for piano (organ too)…This man can really play!!! 🔥🔥🔥

It's evident that these guys who can sit at a keyboard and seemingly at will produce original music of complex rhythms and harmonies can only do this stuff following endless hours of study and practice.- much kudos.

Jazz used to be played by gifted musicians who had style, star appeal, who were cool and smooth who attracted the ladies like Duke Ellington, Miles, Coltrane, Louis Armstrong etc. Now jazz is played by a bunch of ordinary nerds with no image, no female appeal who learn how to play and read complex jazz music no one is interested but other musicians and who end up with no record deals, playing in church and doing jazz gigs on the weekends.

@@Dadee3 Negro that's just the reality of where jazz is today. There are no more Jazz greats or superstars. Jazz skilled and trained musicians imitating the art form.
