I love both pieces. I liked the top sleeveless too! That’s an option for future. Longer bottom with the sleeveless top. I don’t like the patterned hose. They are too much. I love it without stocking and with just the black hose. Those pieces are new classics.

Thank you I've been telling friends and other sewers that it's best to clean up the seam allowance when using sequin fabric. My instructor taught me to keep some of that sequin and then hand sew it around the outside of the seam to cover up the missing spots where the sequin would go.

You never disappoint when it comes to creativity!!!! I want the entire outfit🖤🖤!!! I would make one change on the styling.....those design stockings would go with the closed toe black stiletto, and I would add a very sheer black shimmer with the open sandals. I just feel the sandals are the star of the show and need to be the focal point! But you did that....I love it all!!

I wish you a great year ahead. I am still grieving the loss of my son in 2022 . He was just 46 years old . . Then 5 months after my son died we lost our female miniature long hair dachshund, Sugarfoot. She passed away in her sleep on May 31.2023. She was 13 years old. Then in Dec we lost our male miniature long hair dachshund, Gunner's Coal in the early morning hours of Dec. 16. I have not been sewing because of these losses.

I'm glad your back! I love the outfit, especially the shorts. I think a small headpiece with left over sequien fabric could fit this costume as well? Just an idea! I've always found working with sequin fabrics a bit scary so I haven't tried making anything out of it but maybe I should try it out.
