Your videos reminded me of my young ages when we did the rock-climbing. Kind of different sport, but a lot of similarities around spotting. when you train on bouldering - you're working rope-free - on low heights (2-5 meters) and the partner's job to catch you when you fall. Rock climbers not as heavy strong as you guys, especially if that's a guy falling from 3-5 meters - we can't catch partner fully, but the main aim is to catch shoulders - this way you'll protect spine, head, vital organs. Legs can hit the ground noone cares :) And yes - although 90%+ of time we catch by chest / shoulders ... awkward things sometimes happen. And it's so funny for me to read some people commenting under some videos about guys catching flyers in awkward situations or places... for me it's clear that those people never did the contact kind of sport. It's a bit differnt kind of relations in the team usually. In those moments - you're purely focused on a partner - no matter what gender is he/she - there are nothing "sexy" about those catches ever - and any "awkward" catch is still better than hitting the floor. Not to mention that in contact kind of sports the sense of working touching is way different. But modern world perverts and oversexualize everything - to me that's ridiculous tbh.

I can confirm. When I played football in HS, boys would do dumb shit to mess with each other, like dick slap, butt slap, flick the towel at each other's dick (this was extremely painful if it connected), see who can piss the furthest, etc... When you're getting hit and protecting each other on the football field, these shenanigan's seem trivial :).
