I was expecting more but honestly this is the best advice, probably why I respect TG as a musician. When I was younger studying theory I use to overthink staring at the chord changes trying to follow along.. When I was older and advanced enough that I didn't need an instructor telling me how to play... bottom line, close your eyes and LISTEN (not hear) to your mates and play WITH them. Fuck what the sheet music says.

I totally agree. The shedding is done behind closed doors. When it's performing time, that's when you really need to trust the work you put into and be into the music.
