I even gifted a copy of your amazing edition of Jurassic Park to my younger brother who is a massive Jurassic Park fan & he totally adores it. Thank You. The best version of 'A Game of Thrones' is the UK/World First Edition in royal format hardcover (which preceded the US edition and it's therefore the true first pritning) with the Jim Burns jacket published by HarperCollins -then the read leather one that was issued by the same period once the TV series appeared. There was a demy format book club UK edition which had the same cover but of course it was a smaller format. I sold my signed copy of the World First for an undisclosable sum a few years ago...

There are some exceptions to the rule however (e.g. their Tolkien set is now printed at lower quality then when it was first published), so keep that in mind. A few more Folio favorites of mine: - The Northern Lights Trilogy by Pullman (slightly better looking than Juniper in my opinion) - The amazing Hitchhiker‘s Guide to the Galaxy Set - The Limited Edition Dune Box set with the a gorgeous artwork of Mother Gaius Helen Mohiam and it‘s magnetic lids. - Their edition of Alice in Wonderland Love to see you review these and hope they will send you many more! @@lsdeann_3293 Because they aren't shipped with a normal carrier or in small bulks, but in full containers for big stores. Or a big seller has a much lower shipment price because they cut a deal with the carrier, and might be taking a lower cut themselves of the book to subsidise the cost for the consumer further. And it's not double. You pay the same as an American converted in your currency and then about 50% of that on one book for the shipping cost, if you buy several at once the shipping per book goes down significantly.
