Sometimes you can't just tell the people, you have to show them. Keep going Danielle, you're almost to the point where the public will believe you when you say that the business cycle is part of the Feds tool box, that the government loves the taxes it can collect on bubbles as they grow, (unrealized income tax, anyone?), and that big business loves the bargains it can pick up after the bubble bursts and the ease of doing business without small business interference. You can tell them about how much more reasonable small countries become in the face of dollar loans coming due when dollars are in short supply, how the IMF and World Bank are hiring again, the bubbly feeling at the State Department. About war, the biggest stimulus of them all.

I watch a lot of these videos about the downfall of the US economy but I am rather confused because where I am at in the US, the Midwest, they are literally hiring everywhere and the city is booming; constantly growing, good job available if you have skills and cheap housing. But if I was in another city before I moved and it was far worse. High cost for renting, house buying, and the city looked run down. I am confused as how to look at it as a whole. Does it just depend where you live? When the crisis of 08 happened I was in Mississippi and I was able to easily able to find a job and pay for school, my own apartment and get a car. When I visited my friends in Florida it was horrible.

her comment at the end was pretty funny. There should be a economic ratio of kids that move in to their parents bc they get along with them and kids who would move in but can't get along with them.

Insightful. Definitely seeing disinflation in the short medium term but inflation in housing and other assets at the same time. The two happening in tandem is what confuses the general public. Plan accordingly. the next ten years will mess with you even more than the last ten years.

Gold & Silver prices are up: 37% & 45% in a year signalling economic & climate change disaster. Gold growth is driven by Central Banks buying as insurance against currency devaluation & high debt. Silver demand growth is mainly to produce Carbon Neutral Energy (Solar/PV) as Silver is in deficit (demand exceeds mined supply). Canaries in the Coal mine?

Macro-economics & Finance should be led by unbiased Pragmatic Economists and not by Political Economists. US Economy is built on foundation of spreadsheets created based on many assumptions. Many of those assumptions will evaporate soon.
