Tell me about it. I'm from KC, and I had the privilege of years ago seeing her, and a couple of other of her band members host a weekly Wednesday night jam session at a steakhouse on Raytown Tfwy. A professional associate/co-worker played bass guitar with her father when she and her brothers were tykes and whippersnappers, so she's kind of a home girl. So happy that she's found a way to eke out a living doing what enriches all of us. May she live long, and prosper.

I had the privilege of watching Danielle Nicole open for Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Had no idea who she was, or what she could do. Her and her band wandered onto stage almost apologetically and then proceeded to play. At the end of their set everyone was watching and applauding. No histronics, nothing fancy just damn fine musicians and superb songs. What a voice this girl's got. So powerful. I don't think the recordings I've heard quite capture how much strength she's got. She's got a howl that would make a vampire cringe in fear! I'd love to hear her cover some Creedence Clearwater Revival songs. Can you imagine her singing Born on the Bayou?
