For anyone saying “why didn’t she just leave?”l…it’s obvious you’ve never been in that situation. I was a child in the situation. My mother took years to leave my father because she had to come up with an elaborate plan that took a long time to execute and after that he tried to run her off the road and kill her. Also, you have to leave during a time of peace when they don’t expect it, not when things are at their worst. So many end up dead when they try to “just leave”….it’s not that simple at all.

This is the difference between Amber Heard and a real victim of domestic violence. There are no flowery details, no fake tears, no dramatics, no turning toward the jury every 5 seconds to cry, then turning back ice cold. You can see the way she is sitting, a bit hunched, meek, almost like Johnny Depp during his trial. You can't fake domestic violence the way that Amber thought she could. All of her theater revealed her lies. I am so glad that she was acquitted. This woman is telling the truth.

I went back to our apartment in Manhattan while he got the kids and the house. Yes i went back. He would pull a gun on me at least 2 more times. I saw no way out. I finally just told him to be a good dad to my kids whom i lived more than life itself and I left and never came back. I lost evetything but i am alive today to tell my story. The law never helps you. The judge was mean and flippant. He even chastized me for staying as long as I did. I had nowhere else to go. He did nothing to protect me from this monster. . I was homeless for 2 years. I finally graduated from nursing school and got my life back. I am now remarried to the most amazing man in the world. Diana, not victim-blaming, but think about how you just said you're "coming out of an abusive relationship." That means you made decisions to get away and stay away. Tough to do, but you took that opportunity and got out. I've made decisions to get and stay out of abusive relationships, too. My first abusive relationship almost cost me my life. My last abusive relationship cost me nothing but a little time because when I saw it, brought it to her attention, and saw no effort in her to work on herself, I ended it, and that was WAY before it had a chance to become physical. This person was faced with the decision to get out and stay out time and time again. Her "breaking point" was passed a long time ago. Stabbing him during a physical altercation was completely avoidable. Knowing he had a history of putting his hands on her should have prompted her to call the police, stayed away from home, locked herself in a safe space, or do countless other things aside from be in the place she was in at the time the last physical confrontation took place. @@76482 That's a fair question. I watched that too. Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those people that blindly believe something regardless of the evidence presented. It is very damning for her case, but when taken into account the past that she experienced at the hands of an aggressive domestic abuser, it would be difficult for one to know how you'd react in the same circumstances. There's so much to unpack in this case, but when I watch how she talks and explains herself, I feel that she is very honest albeit 'matter-of-fact' about the situation. She absolutely should have called 911 immediately, but when I think of just some of the things that were running through her mind, like stopping your aggressor, the overwhelming emotional feeling must have come to her as it sinks in that she just killed her husband... it's not outside the realms of possibility that one would begin to clean up a bit either, even if they were innocent. I believe she began to lie due to the intense feeling of the weight of the justice system bearing down on her as the reality sinks in. But there is more to be seen, so no one can say at this stage.

Fear?! She has a monotone voice like she's bored and she's twirling on her chair like she's at a park chilling, when she's on trial for murder. She's another Amber Heard. She was cheating on her sugar step-daddy with a younger man and when he threatened to text her lover, she lost it and stabbed him and then let him bleed out. She just wanted to get rid of him to be with her young lover. He may have Insulted her or gotten crazy angry cause he's jealous! But he was just threataning to text her lover. She didn't need to stab him to get rid of him, she just needed to divorce him.
